Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada. She is best known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te is enthralled. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas since her childhood and always loved dancing. From the time she was a young child, she had been trained in various dance forms. The first time she entered beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she began her acting career as a receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
