Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer that was born in Newark New Jersey on 9th August 1963. Their parents include gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her status as one the world's most popular artists.
