Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor along with Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family. Ryder considers herself Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family lived in a place without electric power. Television books was her only source of entertainment to spend the time and she became an avid reader. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of twelve years old. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actor. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Her hope was that acting could bring change. However, it didn't come be. The actress continued to chase her goals. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in several movies. In 1993 she won an Oscar Prize for The Age of Innocence.
